The PEnCIL project has held its final meeting in Brussels - how will we move forward?
June 16, 2023

On 16 June 2023, the final meeting of the members of the consortium of the European Union funded project Pan European Social Innovation Lab (PEnCIL) took place. The meeting summarised the work carried out since 2021 on the PEnCIL project. The project started in September 2021. The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania entrusted the ESFA to represent Lithuania in the PEnCIL project and the establishment of the National Competence Centre for Social Innovation, which supports innovative projects and advises national institutions, shares information and practical experience on ESF+ funding opportunities, organises trainings, discussions and networking activities at national and European level.

Social innovation takes many forms in EU countries. This rich experience makes the EU an incubator for social innovation. The main focus of this meeting was the dissemination of ideas: how to strengthen social innovation, how to foster transnational cooperation between the participating countries, how to effectively develop and scale innovative solutions and facilitate their wider adoption? All these questions and more were discussed during the meeting.
